Nicebox was founded by Sam Butel, an artist, screen printer, scenic builder, and installation maker with a deep interest in immersive environments. What began with printing on acrylic and lighting it with LEDs evolved into a distinct practice: visual pieces that function as both light source and artwork.
From nightlife spaces and branded interiors to public-facing installations and architectural features, Nicebox is about crafting lighting that shapes mood, enhances identity, and becomes part of the environment itself.
